An American Baptist Church founded in 1877
For over 140 years, First Baptist Alameda has been home to thousands of members and attendees, embracing a connection rooted deep in Alameda’s community since day one.
As we move forward under the leadership of Pastor Aaron Sciford, we look back at our past and heritage as a jumping point into a new era of spiritual leadership in our community, and a focus on spreading the joy of God through loving and serving all.
Our Denomination
First Baptist Alameda is a multicultural, intergenerational community church, affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of the Central Pacific Coast.
